Are you trying to create a new page to add a story too?
The way you do that is to type

then what you want to name the page and end it with
]]
What you get will be a link to a new page.
Pages that already have content on them are blue. When you create the link for the first time it will be red to show that there is no content. From there you can just click on the new link and start editing the page.
