Nice story

Plot or no plot, it was good to see the Doc again, and another point of view on all that's happening and how people are coping. Things are going to become especially difficult in the years to come, hopefully we can help ease the transition.

I enjoyed this one, Eirik. Good to see Dr. Clay back in action, and good to see Dr. Frasier's origins. I hope you've been enjoying the rest of the Paradise stories too! --MatthiasRat 17:56, 14 February 2008 (EST)

I think if there's any place where they'd "go public" first it'll be the medical profession. --Buck 19:40, 14 February 2008 (EST)

It was an intersting story to write, but I had a lot of false starts. I suspect that Jon's right, the first place where you'd start to see huge failures of the RDF would almost have to be in medicine, especially in the ER. If Jerome was going to get a physcial, he'd probebly seek out either a furred doctor or someone who was aware. But in the ER, what happens with the antlers? What happens with a kangaroo tail? It has story possibilities.

And I have been enjoying the other stories, Mattias, including yours. I started writing this before I'd read yours or I might have used your bull lawyer as a contact instead of Saylor. Though Saylor makes a natural contact for the doc when he's frustrated, and this story is set a couple years later when his precautions might be a bit much (though make perfect sense even just two years earlier.) I might also write Sandricks origin at some point unless you plan on expanding on what you mentioned in your story. Not sure that I will, but I like my options open unless you're going to use him (he's not factoring in anything I'm toying with at the moment). --Eirik 00:14, 18 February 2008 (EST)
