I love stories about the aftermath of transforming into strange creatures, how the characters survive, and how it affects the world at large. A fan of speculative fantasy in general, the sort of way that the world should be. Not a fan of horror, since I get enough of that in real life already. I am glad that horror exists though, because if everyone always wrote about a better world, then I would have to assume that whoever is authoring my story must be living an even more terrible, dreary and meaningless life.
Lately I've been able to start writing again, thanks to a certain new genre appearing about supernatural camradery amongst equinoids, but it would be nice to write something that people actually want to read once and a while, so I thought I'd stop by here. I've been on Shifti before, and the old TSA-talk mailing list, under another alias of course... so few people know just how long I've been around, because some jerk diligently connects my chosen alias to the government file on me.
My INTERESTS include transformation, magic, homestucks, ponies, ferrets and friendship. I like when I can do things by choice for benefit of myself and others, instead of out of obligation to a higher authority, which neatly pigeonholes me as an anarchist, whereupon those around me start raving about how the police are the only things stopping us from going at each other's throats while wearing scanty leather garments composed mostly of belts and covered with ornamental spikes. Ironically I am a fan of the post-apocalyptic genre, though what I really love is the post-post-apocalyptic genre, something very rarely touched upon. I like cute things, weird things, though not outright diseased or horrifying things. I am not a fan of zombies.
This world needs a shaking up, a new sense of wonder.<ref>Skytech</ref>
