Talk:Book the One (Dragons of Histh)

First the good part: This wasn't that hard to fix the problems introduced by dumping the raw, original text in without thinking about how the MediaWiki parser would mangle it. Now the bad part: This needs a lot of work. I'd suggest adding it to the "Editing Request" category because it could really use the help of a good editor - there are numerous violations of common English grammar and what look, to me, to be a massive amount of spelling errors. But those problems can be fixed! And a suggestion: For any story longer than 4000 or 5000 words adding sections - like those that get automatically added by the {{part}} template makes the story easier to read and navigate, since the parser will automatically generate a table of contents if there are four or more section. (and if it finds __TOC__ in a post it'll generate the table and put it where the __TOC__ tag was) -- ShadowWolf 23:52, 4 August 2007 (EDT)

Might also be good to move these to a less generic-sounding title. I originally suggested something along the lines of Dragons of Histh Book the One back when this was inadvertantly posted on a category page, which is easily extendable to the other books in the same manner. How about it? Bryan 00:43, 5 August 2007 (EDT)

I think we're going to need some sort of naming convention for settings anyway. ShadowWolf suggested the disambugation style used in Wikipedia: Book_the_One_(Dragons_Of_Hsith) sort of thing. --Buck 00:50, 5 August 2007 (EDT)
That works. One can also use semicolons, as long as one doesn't have a story setting that's the same name as one of the existing namespaces (ie, no "Shifti: " stories or anything set in the "Talk" universe :) Bryan 01:06, 5 August 2007 (EDT)
