Decade
PROLOGUE
Welcome.
Constellations are not born from stars. But when lines connect them together. Likewise , a legend is not born from a story of any being, be it animal or human. But when lines connect the stories together. This is the legend of lines connecting all the stories... until it is too late for any hero to rescue it.
DECADE
The stars I look up to, there is shining every history Like a constellation, it's a legend that begins the instant the lines connect Passing through the time where the Aurora flickers The straying Parallel world I dive into
On the road, everyone is on a journey in order to meet their real selves Still walking even now, we are all travelers Stretching out in front of my eyes, the ten roads will someday overlap I will be changed on the road that heads on to a new dawn Witness the Journey through the decade
Even if you look at the scenery cut off beyond the lens Truth is what is reflected in your hearts vision Somewhere, raising the curtain on the fight is the hallucination of "me" that sweeps away reality
On the road, the reason for going on the journey is to change the future in which the world is ruined Embracing our dreams even tighter, we are all dreamers My fate is undoubtedly to stand up for the tenth time, then Roads will open, cutting through the new wind Witness the Journey through the decade
I'll decide at every instant, with your everything The future is changing even ideals and despair So I'll surely run the roads I believed in
On the road, everyone is on a journey in order to meet their real selves Still walking even now, we are all travellers Stretching out in front of my eyes, the ten roads will someday overlap I will be changed on the road that heads on to a new dawn Witness the Journey through the decade
Our story begins in a small town in an undefined city, in a universe not our own.
A wolf wanders through the streets, looking for a meal. He looks into a house, seeing humans eating, envious.
DOG CATCHER: Hey! Another dog, no doubt!
The wolf swiftly ran away from the town and to the nearby lake.
The wolf sighed.
WOLF: What can I do? How can I get something to eat? There's nothing left to hunt...
MAN'S VOICE: Maybe there is something I can do.
WOLF: What?
MAN'S VOICE: Look down again...
The wolf saw a man in a trench coat in the pool.
WOLF: Who are you?
MAN: I am just a prophet. But who I am doesn't matter. I can help you with your problem.
Then, the wolf felt himself unable to support himself on four legs any more, and was able to stand up on two. He felt his paws becoming hands as he did so.
WOLF: What's going on?
He saw the man standing on the other side of the lake. He had his back turned and began to walk away.
MAN: Damn you, Decade!
The man walked away and seemingly vanished.
The wolf looked back down at himself in the lake. He still looked like a wolf, but he was standing on two legs, with more human hands and proportions.
He looked back at the city and wonder if he could go back there...
MEANWHILE
NARUTAKI: I've waited years for this moment, Decade! I have enough Life Force energy to finally defeat you!
DECADE: Even with that much energy in your Persona, you'll still never defeat me.
Decade began the battle by summoning an almighty Dragon - or rather, a part of his personality.
Narutaki followed by summoning an Baiji.
The following battle was a long one, but Decade finally prevailed.
NARUTAKI: Damn you, Decade!
DECADE: I have more important things to do than fight you.
Cutting back to the wolf...
The wolf had managed to find a long cloak to cover himself, and, amazingly, passed off as a human.
He managed to reach the library before being found out, (fortunately empty library) and picked up a book on transformations, matching up a picture of a werewolf to himself.
WOLF: Is that what I am?
The wolf began to think about his transformation. While he was like this, he could pass off as a human. He began to think of the possibilities...
Everything went well for the wolf over the next two years. He managed to find a job and a house, but always had to wear his cloak out in public.
Until one day, a salesman came calling at his house.
SALESMAN: Hello? Is anybody home?
The wolf, at the time was asleep on his sofa... you can guess what happened next.
The salesman let himself in, and began to look around the house for anyone.
SALESMAN: All I can find is that dog on the sofa, but they can't have gone out. All the lights on, the telly on, door unlocked... Perhaps I should call the police.
In a few minutes, the police were there.
POLICEMAN: Hello? Is there anyone here? Anyone?
WOLF: Yes?
One of the police pointed to the living room.
POLICEMAN: Sir? Are you in there?
WOLF: Yes, yes.
POLICEMAN: Good.
And the police entered...
