It was a cool night at a small town called South Willson. It was summer time and everyone was hot. It was one of the hottest summers in Wisconsin and everyone didn't like being outdoors. But no one knew it was a nice night except for one girl, Luna Malone. It was unusual for someone to be walking down the town at night but Luna like the cool air at night. It was a summer night and she like walking. This was her time to enjoy the night. When it was spring, fall, and winter she couldn’t walk around that much. A wind blow and the sky lit up. Luna look up and saw the moon. It wasn't a full moon but it was getting there. She took a look down the street. She was at the north part of town where it was next to the woods. There was rumors that creatures live in the woods. But Luna knew it was all a myth. But still, it felt like she was being watch. Luna sigh, look at the wood and walk home.
South Willson lives near a highway north of Chicago and Milwaukee. Because of this a lot of traffic goes through the town. South Willson was loud even at night. The only part that was quiet was the north part, away from the highway. This was the only area quiet enough for Luna to think. So during the night especially on summer vacation Luna goes to that part of the town. But she couldn’t stay there long because her mother didn’t like the idea of her daughter going to town in the middle of the night. Mrs. Kate Malone was one of those mothers who worry too much. She doesn’t want her daughter in any danger at all. She didn’t know how tough Luna can be. Luna was one of the toughest teenagers in South Wilson.
Luna was walking to her house when her mother came out the front door. She had a very angry look on her face and Luna knew she was angry about her walking to town . Luna was on the porch as her mother began to yell at her and her whole speech of how worry she was when she was walks to town at night. Luna was in a foul mood when she went to bed that night. All she wants to do is scream at her mother but she knew that wouldn’t get her anywhere but trouble. Luna doesn’t know what makes her mother paranoid Was it the fact that she was married to a person who was a head of the best security company in Europe and the person disappear from the face of earth? Or something else? Luna’s father disappear when she was eight years old. Kate said that he went on a trip but Luna knew she was lying. So it was just Luna and Kate living in South Willson, getting money from the company Luna’s dad own. Luna try to go to sleep as best as she could but she felt restless. Luna look out the window, she thought she saw something. She had that feeling again, like she was being watch. Luna look away from the window and fell asleep.

Kill was looking from a great distance at the girl. She was Kill’s prey. She will be his soon but Kill had to wait. His master knows what to do. He can hear his voice even if he was not with him. Kill went down the path to the middle of the woods. His senses can help him find where his prey is. He didn’t need his sight to know where she was. He can smell where she was at. Kill leap over a log and turn back to town. He just found her scent. She live at the south part of town. Kill went as fast as he can to where the scent was at. Then suddenly Kill stop. About ten feet ahead was the town. Kill couldn’t be seen in town. His master would be angry if Kill was seen in town, especially in his night form. But Kill could see where his prey live. She was at her window look out. She was several blocks away but Kill could see her from here with his excellent vision.
“Wait. She will come to you”
Kill knew it was his master’s voice. His master wants Kill to take her in, raise her to become like him. But not yet. Kill has to wait for her to come to him. Then we she does, Kill will show her what it is like to be a warrior of the night. He will show her to fear him. To fear of his werewolf form

Luna woke up feeling sick that morning. Her stomach felt like it was being squeeze by a giant hand and her head throb a bit. She felt queasy and like she was going to puke. She try to get up but it almost made her puke. Kate enter the room with her usual worry look. Kate found it unusual that her daughter didn’t get up yet, Luna was a early riser. She found Luna on her bed groaning. Before she knew it Luna was in the bathroom puking out her guts out as her mother was on the phone trying to make a appointment. After she was done puking Luna went back to bed and lie down. Kate was off the phone and was making sure Luna went to bed.
“I made an appointment with Dr. James but it won’t be until Saturday.” Kate said as Luna climb back to bed. “Until then take it easy and rest. I got one more call to make.”
“Don’t worry I will.” said Luna and Kate went back to her room to make the call.
Luna lay down on her bed, trying to rest. But it was hard since she now has the headache of century. Luna got up and look around her room to see if there was a book to read. She stop at her mirror. She did look like her mother a bit. Both of them have thin faces and brown eyes. Both of them look athletic yet Kate was slightly taller than Luna. Luna’s hair was a light brown however and Kate was a dark brown, almost black. Luna look at the reflection and saw that she was a bit pale. Luna went back to her bed but before she could lay down she thought she her something. She open her door. Luna could hear her mother talking on the phone in her room. Kate was talking really fast, like what she was saying was important. Luna walk down the hall towards her mother’s room. Luna never seen her mother’s room. She heard from her mother’s friends that Kate was once an author. Luna never knew if this was true or not but she thinks that something could be hiding in there. Luna stop at the door, trying to listen to what Kate was saying. Luna wasn’t a person to eavesdrop but it sound important.
“Look Lee I find it strange that she is sick around this time in the month.” Kate said. She pause to listen to what the person she call was saying. “Yes I’m sure.” she said. “I have it right in front of my face. It is this Friday.”
Kate pause again. Luna wonder what she was talking about. What was going on Friday?
Kate began to speak again. “You said that you can stop it. I need you here before Friday.” Pause. “I don’t care if you are busy, Lee. I want you here now.” Another Pause. “Fine I will keep her in bed until you get here.”
Luna began to walk away but Kate said something that made her stop in her tracks. She heard her mother almost scream at the phone. “No, I haven’t told her.”
Luna turn and run to her room. She quietly close the door and went back to her bed. Something was going on and her mother wasn’t telling her any of it. She try to think what it was but her headache was very severe now and she need to sleep. Luna fell sleep after awhile. She had strange dreams. She felt like she was somewhere that she never was at. Like somewhere she belong at. But before she could see where she was at she woke up. It was sunny outside. It was around the afternoon. Luna felt a little bit better. Luna got up and went downstairs. Kate was reading a magazine at the kitchen table. Luna went to one of the cupboards and grab some chips. Luna sat down and began to eat some chips. Kate look up from her magazine.
“You know you could get sick again.” she said as Luna went to the refrigerator to make a sandwich.
“I don’t care.” Luna said. “I’m hungry and I need to eat. What time is it?”
“It is 2:30 in the afternoon.” Kate said. “You still need rest. Trust me I know you think it is gone but it could get sick again.”
Luna look at Kate. “You want me to trust you?” she said and went to make her chicken sandwich.

Kill was driving through town looking for a place to eat. In his human form Kill look like any other human. Well except that he was a bit too tall and muscular to be in a small town like South Willson. Kill was going to eat before he goes to see what street his prey lives at. Kill park his car at a diner. It was a place that look like it’s business was at a low since the restaurants near the highway. Kill enter the diner. The dinner was a dark gritty place, one TV was on talking about the election and news. Kill sat down at a table near the window. He saw a gang meeting right outside the dinner. They were waiting for someone to come. After Kill was done eating he went outside. The gang was still waiting for someone. But before Kill could get to his car the gang was surrounding him. The gang leader look like a trucker from his mid-twenties. He was coming up to Kill like he own the place.
“Didn’t see you here before.” the Leader said. He sound like a hillbilly. “What is your name?
“Bill Kilham.” Kill said. He look around to see somewhere he can escape without violence. But all the gang members were ready to attack except for one man who was smoking as he watch the gang surround Kill. Kill knew that he had to punch his way out but his master will be angry. The Leader went to Kill and push him against his car. This got Kill angry, no one pushes Kill. Kill push the Leader back. The Leader look impress.
“This one as a little macho in him.” he said. “I like that. Kill him. Kill Bill.”
The Leader throw a punch at Kill but Kill easily dodge it. The Leader try to punch again but Kill grab his fist and threw the Leader a couple of feet. The gang was shock, no one had threw the Leader. The Leader got up and start to throw many punches at Kill. None of them hit at all of course. Kill jump to side and karate chop the Leader in the chest. The Leader staggered and crouch from the Kill’s hit. Then the Leader grab a knife from his pocket. Kill saw the knife was silver. The one weakness to werewolves. The Leader slash at Kill. The knife hit Kill in the arm. The cut burn and blood drip from his arm. Kill grab the knife and kick the Leader in the stomach. The knife fell from his hand and Kill grab it. Even if the Leader want mercy Kill will never give it to him. Kill stab the Leader three times. After the third stab Kill realize what he did. The Leader was cover in blood. Kill stab him in the back and chest. The gang back up slowly from Kill. Police sirens fill the air as Kill went to his car. Before the police got to the dinner or the gang react Kill was long gone.
“You should have left.” Master said as Kill was driving. Only Kill could hear or see Master. But most of the time Master just speaks to him. Kill try to see if Master was with him but he had to keep driving.
“Where are you?” Kill said. The police sirens were getting closer but Kill knew he can lose them
“I’m everywhere.” his Master said. “But not here. I want you to get out but you have got the police on you. Now it may be awhile before you can ever reach her. You have to stay in the woods until the heat dies. THAT won’t happen until after Friday. “
“But Master you said that she will come to me.” Kill said. “ Why did I fail?”
“She won’t come to you anymore.” said the Master. “Her mother had call a Reviver. They will keep her until they make it impossible for us to make her into one of us. Nothing will stop them from keeping her.”
Then Kill stop his car suddenly. He look around at the neighborhood . It was a suburban area that was surrounded by the woods. It was near the south area of the town where Kill escape from. The cops will be coming soon. Kill look at house with a black roof . It was his prey’s house. This is where she lives. Suddenly Kill got an idea. Kill was gone by the time the cops came.
Meanwhile Luna was at home reading. She just got out of the shower and put on a fresh pair of jeans and shirt. She felt better after that. Luna was still wondering what her mother was talking about this morning. She wonder what secret her mother kept. Then suddenly she felt sick again and she ran to the bathroom.

Luna got up. After a night of puking and headaches she felt exhausted. Luna had another strange dream. This time it was more clear. Luna was in the woods. Was it the woods near town? Luna never will know. But Luna felt strange in her dream. In the woods she felt like she was at home. She felt safe. The moon was high in the sky. She could see all around her as if it was daytime. Then something came to her. Something dark. She woke up after that. Luna was still queasy from last night. Luna decide to stay in bed instead of risking puking again. Luna still was in bed when Kate came back from shopping. Kate went to check on Luna and then back downstairs. Luna have decide that she needs a drink before dehydrates to death. Luna went downstairs to the kitchen to get a drink. Kate was on the phone talking to someone. Luna guess it was the same person she talk to yesterday. Luna was eating a piece of bread went Kate got of the phone.
“That was a friend of mines.” Kate said. “He is coming over to see you before I take you to Dr. James.”
“When is he coming over?” ask Luna.
“Around 4:00.” said Kate. “Until then rest.”
Luna went upstairs to rest. But no matter how hard she try to go to sleep she just couldn’t. Luna went to her computer and boot it up. Luna rarely use her computer. It was giant paperweight to her because most of the time it couldn’t get online. Even if she got online most of what she found was crab. But Luna decide to look for something. Today the computer was able to get online but it was slow. When the computer was booting up Luna turn on the radio to listen to music. She was browsing on events and was looking at the weather when she saw something that caught her attention. It said that the full moon was on Friday. Before she knew it Luna was looking for an article on werewolves. She came across one that said werewolves get sick before they transform for the first time. Luna felt queasy, was she a werewolf? No, Luna thought she just has the flu. But before she could think any longer the radio began the news and interrupt her thoughts.
“Police are still on the look out for a man in his mid-twenties named Bill Kilham who is a suspect for an almost fatal stabbing of Andrew Frankston.” The news lady said. “The attack happen around 3:00 when Frank was attack right in front Moonpie Dinner on Grant street. Bill escape before any of Andrew’s friends could stop him. Police are still investigating on whether Andrew attack Bill first or Bill attack Andrew. Police of South Wilson ask any citizen with info of the whereabouts of Bill Kilham.”
For some reason that name made Luna shiver .

Luna heard the car door open. She look out the window. A guy came out of a black car and was walking towards Luna’s house. He had sunglass and a brown coat on despite the hot weather. The man look old but well groom. He was carry a suitcase with him. Luna went downstairs to see this stranger. Kate open the door and greet the man. Luna stand at the stairs as Kate and the stranger enter the kitchen. Kate saw Luna at the stairs.
“Um Luna here is my friend and he can fix your sickness.” Kate said. “His name is Lee.”
Luna look at Kate. “Tell me the truth.” she said. “ What is wrong with me?”
“Nothing is wrong but I just want Lee to check you before we take you to the doctor.”
“Lies!” Luna scream grab a book that was on the stairs and chuck it across the kitchen.
“Luna, calm down.” Lee said. He held his hands out as if he surrender to her. Luna was so angry. It was unlike her to go into an angry rage. She was a calm person but now she just want to yank the truth out of Kate. She try to get to her but then she felt weak. She try to yell but she got dizzy. Something was wrong, she couldn’t think, she couldn’t breath, she couldn’t do anything. Luna stop between the stairs and her mother. She was angry. She want to destroy everything that block the truth from her. But then Luna collapse. Her last thoughts was question that repeated in mind a lot. Was she a werewolf?
Lee look down at Luna. The sickness had made her weak, so weak that she fainted. The sickness had took most of her energy. Lee bend down and she if she was okay. Luna was breathing alright and her heart beat was okay. Lee had a simple job. Try to help were-animals and stop them from being kill or becoming evil. Lee seen a lot of were-animals. He also seen a lot of evil But now was the time for action . He pick up Luna and carry her to the couch. He put her down and turn to Kate.
“Why didn’t you tell her?” Lee said. “How can I try find a cure for her if she won’t cooperate?”
“She doesn’t need to know.” Kate said. “She is innocent. You said you can cure her from this curse. I want her not to become one of them. I don’t want her to become a werewolf. She doesn‘t need to know. Please Lee, you are the only one who can help.”
I will do what I can.” Lee said. “But there is something you need to know.”
“What?”
“Kill is back.”

Kate was driving down the road to look for Kill. She had a gun on her lap, she was going to kill Kill. Kill was a werewolf she ran into long ago. Kate knew of the were-creatures and the demons that created them. But they have one enemy that will stop them from destroying life as we know it. The Shadow Elite was a group of demon slayers, witches, and vampire hunters who knew that demons were trying to take over Earth. The demons created were-creatures to use as soldiers to fight in a war between humans and demons. But the Shadow Elite made the plan backfire. The Shadow Elite stop some were-animals from giving in to the beast within them. So some were-animals were able to become good and not evil. Luna got infected in the most inhuman way. Kate didn’t want her daughter or her grandchildren to become one of those monster. But her thoughts were interrupted when something big hit her car.
Kate was skidding out of control. She try to get control of her car. But it was too late. Her car landed in a ditch. Kate try to get out but smoke and fumes block her view. Then suddenly something rip the door of the car off. Kate didn’t have time to see if it was someone to save her. She felt something grab her and then threw her in the air. She land on concrete. She try to get up but something was over her. She look up and saw a man who was about six feet tall and was highly built. He was looking over her like she was prey. Kate roll over and try to crawl away from him.
“Kate, you disappoint me.” said Kill. “Surly you could do better.”
Kate did a swift kick in the crotch. This shocked Kill as he fell over and crouch down. Kate got up and try to look for a place to escape but she was surrounded by woods. Kill got up and was really angry. He lunge to her but Kate dodge it. Kate need a weapon, she couldn’t dodge forever. Kate grab a stick from the side of the road and hit Kill in the head. Kill grab the stick and yank it out of Kate’s hands. Kate ran to her car but Kill block her. Kate knew that Kill was keeping her from getting the gun out of her car. She back away as Kill was stepping to her.
“You think I was going to let you kill me?” he said. “Master knew what you were going to do.” “Sorry Kill but you won’t get my daughter.” Kate said. “I will defend her with my last breath. You have to go through me Kill or should I say Bill Kilham..”
“That name no longer has meaning to me.” Kill said. “You will fall to my Master.”
“You have a master?” Kate said. “Well tell him to go to hell if he wants my daughter to become like you.”
“He doesn’t have to tell me.” said a cold voice. “ and I been to hell and escape from it.”
Kate turn around and saw a man standing behind her. He was tall, taller than Kill. He had a dark cloak covering his whole body. Kate couldn’t see his face because his hood cover it. But Kate did see he had bright red eyes. The man was walking closer to her and making her fell trap. Kate couldn’t escape. Kill was on one side as this man was on the other. But Kate knew this man was a demon. She hold a bottle of holy water in her hand ready to strike at the last moment.
“Who are you?” Kate said
“I am Dalzen.” the man said. “I am lord of the darkness, ruler of the moon and king of the man-beast.”
“You are Dalzen?” Kate said. She unscrew the holy water. “I thought it was just a myth that you exist.”
“I am very much alive.” Dalzen said. He had a staff with him. “Right now I’m gathering an army of were-animals and minions to take this world and to make it my kingdom. Others may resist their Inter Beast and don’t become a creature of darkness, a predator to humans. Because soon or later nature will take place and humans will not be on top of the food chain.”
“Why Luna?” Kate ask. She had to strike soon. “Why my child? Don’t you have someone else to take?”
“You think I’m just after Luna?” Dalzen said. He open his cloak . It felt like he had a bottomless pit for a body. Kate could hear screams and voices from all around. “I’m everywhere. I am the voice that tells the were-animals to give in to themselves and become what they are meant to be, a predator. Sooner or later your daughter will give in and become the monster you always fear.”
Then light flash across the woods. Dalzen look up and saw police come to them. Then Kate throw the holy water on Dalzen. As soon as the water hit Dalzen steam rose into the air and Dalzen scream. Kate did a roundhouse kick and Dalzen went back a few feet. Kill jump at Kate but she dodge Kill’s attack. Kill collide into Dalzen. Kate took the moment to run as fast as she can. She ran towards the police, hopefully they can stop Kill. But Kill block her and Dalzen came behind her.
“Holy water,” Dalzen said “You must know the Shadow Elite.”
The police were stopping about ten feet away from them. Kill look at his master. “Master what should I do?”
“Kill them all, Kill” Dalzen said and with a wave of his arm all the guns the police had flew out of their hands.
Then Kill leap into the air. He began to transform. His body was growing grey fur everywhere. His body shift into a wolf body. His hand became paws and his face form into a snout. Before he hit the ground Kill was in his wolf form. He look like and wolf except for some human features like his eyes. As soon as he landed Kill went to the nearest police and lunge at his body. Kill was at the chest and was ripping up the guy’s shirt and chest. Blood was everywhere and soon the officer fall to the ground bleeding to death. The next police officer try to hit Kill but Kill’s jaw grab the guy’s arm and was trying to rip his arm off. Kill push the officer down and rip his left hand off. Two officers recover their guns and began to shoot at Kill. Kill dodge the bullets and lunge at the two officers. Within ten seconds the two officers were dead. One had his throat chew off, the other had his spine rip off. There was blood everywhere. “It is amazing,” Dalzen said. He was watching the fight as if it were a movie. “The power of one person if they give in to themselves.”
Kate look disgusted and shock. “You want Luna to be like that?”
“No, darling.” Dalzen said. “ I want EVERY were-animal to be like that.” and then darkness went over Kate.

It has been 24-hours since Kate left. Lee was trying everything to get Luna back to normal but it was not working. Luna was going in and out of conscious. She was having fever dreams and hallucinations. The sickness had settle and soon Luna will wake up soon. The Shadow Elite have call them Revivers because they were able to stop demons from making were-animals evil. Lee is the only one in the world who was looking for a cure and so far Luna was still sick. Lee meet Kate along time ago when she was in France with her husband. She was being chase by a werewolf by the name of Kill. Lee was able to stop Kill and save Kate. But now Luna was sick and it was up to Lee to save her. Then Luna woke up.
Luna had the most vivid dream in her life. She was running in the woods She didn’t know if she was running on two legs or four, it seems she was running on both. The moon was full and bright. It call to her, saying that she was the ruler of the woods and this was her territory. This was her turf. She felt something growing in her. It was howling. It wants her to hunt. Luna ran to the woods. She sense prey. She ran to it as fast as she can. Nothing can stop her. The prey was trap and before Luna could see it she was on it. Her jaw was open and she was about to lunge when she saw it was. It was her mother. Then blood fill the sky and Luna was dead. Only three words filled her mind. Prey or Predator.
Lee was looking at Luna. She wonder what time is it. She was still hot but her stomach felt better. Lee went to the other room to get something as Luna try to sit up . Luna look around the room. Kate was not here. Something is wrong. Luna try to get off the couch but she was too weak and fell on the floor. Lee came back and try to get Luna to lay down on the couch. But Luna didn’t want to stay. Her mother was in danger she was sure of it. But she was too weak to even get up.
“You need to rest Luna.” Lee said. “Your body took most of it’s energy to fight this sickness. You are in no condition to move around.”
“Where is my mother?” Luna ask. “What is going on? Tell me the truth!”
“Your mother went out to look for someone.” said Lee. “I will tell you but you need to stay in bed. Promise me that you will take it easy.”
“Fine. Now tell me was is going on.”
“Ok,” Lee said. “This may not be easy for you to take in. Luna, you are a werewolf.”
“What?”
“You are suffering from lycanthropy. If I don’t find a cure by tomorrow you will transform into a werewolf.”
But werewolves don’t exist!” Luna said. She try to get up but fail. “It is all fake.”
“Werewolves do exist and so do many were-animals.” Lee said. Then he burst into a speech. “They were created by demons long time ago. Before they were created demons were trying to take over Earth. But a group of humans fought back. They call themselves Shadow Elite. Back then all the Shadow Elite worry about was demons. But now a demon created were-animals to use as soldiers.” “So how does the disease spread?” Luna ask.
“A human can get infected if he or she is attack by a were-animal. But it only pass if bite or a scratch hit’s the blood stream. That one of the ways lycanthropy is pass. Shape-shifting is a complicated magic. It takes an expert mage to master it. I only know some magic.”
“Wait I didn’t get a bite or a scratch. So how did I get the curse?” Luna ask.
“Another way the curse is pass is by heredity.” Lee said “That is how you got it.”
“So who in my family is a werewolf?”
“Your mother Kate.”

Kate was in some sort of cave. She look around and saw Kill standing over her with a silver knife. The one weakness to werewolves . Kate look around to see the cave had some human material to it. A lamp was on the end of the table across Kate. It’s light show the whole cave except for the corner near the cave entrance. The sun was setting she was sure of it. She was gone for more than a day. But how? She didn’t lose conscious and yet a whole day has gone by. Kate try to get up but she was tie to the floor. Kill was staring at her like prey. He will kill her without blinking.
“I remember you, Kate.” He said. “We meet in France. You were a tough one. But I bit you. So you should be one of us. Why haven’t you change?”
“Because I have the willpower to resist it.” Kate said fiercely.
“But you have to change at lease once every month.” Dalzen came out of the darkness.
Kate knew she was screw. There was no way to escape. “What do you want?”
“Your daughter,” Dalzen said. “I need a soldier, I need ten thousand soldiers.”
“Luna won’t become your soldier.” Kate said. “She can resist it like me.”
“Yet she doesn’t know that she is a werewolf.” said Dalzen. He saw the look on Kate’s face. “Don’t deny it. You never told Luna about this curse. You are so shameful of being a werewolf that you didn’t tell her until the last minute. At lease some else told her the truth. The change will frighten her so much that only I will be able to tell her that she has to accept it. I will be her guild. I will show her what it is like to be a werewolf. In return she will be my soldier and fight in my war against humans. All for not telling the truth.”
Kate then jump up and landed on Dalzen. Her chain was broken and her attack took them by surprise. She was punching Dalzen as hard as he can. Dalzen push Kate off her but Kate was fast. Before Kill can stab her she roll on the floor and put Dalzen between her and Kill. Then Kate try to transform but Dalzen grab her and threw her across the cave. Kate jump up and kick Dalzen in the head. Dalzen fell back but he got up. An axe was in his hand and he was about to kill her. Suddenly a gun shot echo in the cave. Kate turn and saw that Lee was at the entrance of the cave. Kate took the moment to tackle Dalzen and ran to Lee. Lee was holding a gun that had silver bullets in it. Dalzen look amuse.
“Silver Bullets?” he said. “You think that will be able to stop me?”
“No, but I could paralyzes you and kill you werewolf friend.” Lee said. “That will give me enough time to send you down to hell. Before Kate could yell, Lee shot three bullets at Dalzen. Dalzen’s cloak took the shots. Then Dalzen was behind Lee. A quick movement and Lee was on the ground. Kate try to stop Dalzen but Kill was quicker than she was. Before she knew it she was on the ground pin by Kill. She try to move but Kill held her tight. Lee then stab Dalzen with a knife. Dalzen scream and Kill turn around. Kate took the opportunity and punch Kill in the head. The impact sent him on the ground. Kate ran to Dalzen. Then Lee was thrown against the wall. He was out cold before he hit the ground. Kate turn around and saw Kill’s foot hit her in the head. This time she did loss conscious.

Luna was sitting on her bed listening for anything. Lee has left yesterday looking for her mom. Lee told her if he wasn’t back by 6:00 that she has to lock herself in the basement and chain herself up. Lee also said that she has run like hell if someone was breaking into her house. Lee gave her a gun in cause someone will kill her. All this made Luna worried but she was also somewhat a bit excited.
Luna was about to be a werewolf. Although it will change her into a monster who eats people at night and it will change her life. She knew that she shouldn’t look forward to being a werewolf. But tonight will change her life forever. She went downstairs to get something to eat. She open the fridge and grab an apple. She bit into the apple and walk to the living room. Her sickness was gone but Lee said it will come back before she transform for the first time. Luna look at the picture on the coffee table. One had a picture of Kate. Anger suddenly rose in Luna. Why did her mother lie to her? But before Luna could turn away from the picture something hit the front door. Luna look at the door. Someone was trying to enter the house and gun was upstairs.

Kate woke up to see she was in a cage. Someone groan behind her. Kate try to move but it was no use. She was stuck. Dalzen must have use stronger chains to tie her. She couldn’t see the person behind her. The person groan again. It was Lee. Kate was relive, Luna wasn’t capture yet. But they only have a few hours. Lee woke up. He too try escape but he couldn‘t break the chains. Dalzen appear at the entrance of the cave and was coming to them. He was carrying a barrel full of something. He set the barrel down and look at Kate.
“Well look who is up.” Dalzen said. He turn to Lee “You are ready to watch the show?”
“Show?” said Lee.
“Kill and I need to escape.” he said. “We need to get rid of the heat that Kill has. He brought a lot of attention after his attack on the police officers. So Kill is going into town to get Luna and take her here. He will draw a lot of cops here like a mouse drawing a cat. When the cops surround the cave and will ambush us. But I will teleport me, Kill and Luna before they can get to us. Once they enter this cave they will set this bomb on top of this gas barrel. The explosion will kill them and you while we are at the other side of the world. Once the cops recover from the explosion they will assume Kill is dead and they won’t be looking for him no more.”
You think that will work?” Lee said. “We will escape before you can kill us.”
“But the plan is already in action.” Dalzen said. “Right now Kill is getting Luna.”
“But the cave will be gone.” said Lee and then he threw a grenade. The grenade hit the gas barrel and then a explosion rip the cave apart. Kate was knock down and soon she fell into darkness.

Luna ran upstairs and lock the door behind her. She try to barrack the door with everything she has. The person broke the front door and was already in the house. She ran where she set the gun at. Then the door burst open. Luna grab the gun and aim at the intruder. He was tall and strong enough to beat up a gang member. Luna doesn’t stand a chance.
“Here’s Killy!!!” Kill said as he broke through the door. Luna aim and fire. Kill dodge easily. And took a step to Luna. Luna was terrified. She was going to be kill. She fired again but Kill dodge that bullet too. Kill had a murderous look on his face. Luna was up against her bedroom window, the same window Kill saw her at. Then with the last of her strength she aim and fire. The bullet graze Kill’s arm. The bullet was silver and it burn Kill. Kill scream and step back. Luna knew that she had to fire again. She aim but Kill was blinded with rage grab her and threw her out the window. Glass shatter as Luna fell from her window and landed on Lee’s car. Luna groan as she try to pick herself up. She was alright. But she look up and saw Kill about to jump down. Luna grab the gun and as Kill Jump down she fired. The bullet hit Kill. Luna didn’t know where but she wasn’t going to stay to find out. She drop the gun and ran to the woods. Kill fell down and hit the sidewalk.
Luna ran as fast as she can to the woods. She knew that was the person who attack the gang member Tuesday. She jump over a bush and ran to a path down the woods. A thought was repeating in her mind. She just killed someone. She felt the sweat on her neck as she stop running and took a minute to rest. Luna look at a cut on her arm. She was bleeding and had bruises all over her body. But still she had to go on. Luna began to run again when she heard someone behind her. She knew that it was Kill. She dash down the woods. She was prey and he was predator.

Kate felt her whole body in pain. She was on the floor of the cave, somehow she survive. For most of the time she was going in and out of conscious. The explosion had cause the cave to collapse and to break the cage. Kate was no longer chain to the floor or to a pole. Kate lift a rock that was pinning her down. Kate got up and look around to see the damage. The roof of the cave fell and a bunch of rocks and boulders were pile everywhere around her. Kate could see light coming from the entrance of the cave. She walk towards the light. Then Kate step on something metal. Kate look at down at it. It was what was left of the cage.
Lee! Kate ran all around the cave looking for him. Kate call his name again and again. She could walk around that much because all of the rocks blocks her path. She move rocks and was looking for any sign of movement. Then she heard a groan. She look around and saw Lee under a rock. She grab it and threw it across the cave. She grab Lee and pull him out of the rocks. Other than a cut on his forehead he look all right. Kate try slapping his face but he was waking up already. Lee groan and sat up. He was dizzy and had a headache from the explosion.
“You fool you could have kill us!’ Kate said once Lee stand up.
“Well at lease we would have took Dalzen down with us.” he said, stretching his arm. “Luna would have been safe once the police caught Kill. I thought it was one shot to stop this whole war. We may die but it wouldn’t be in vain. But now we must make sure Luna is safe. If Dalzen is still alive he would be after her more than ever.”
Kate stare at Lee in disbelief as they began to move rocks around. The daylight was fading as they began to escape from the cave. Kate ran to the woods but Lee stop her. He point to his car and soon they were driving to town. Kate look at the clock, it was 6:40. They need to hurry. Lee was driving fast but it seems like everything was delaying them from getting to her home. But once they got there Kate was shock. Police were everywhere and Luna’s window was broken. Kate ran but Lee stop her again. The police question her but it got them nowhere. So they left, leaving Kate and lee alone. Lee went to his damaged car. “It seems Luna escape from Kill.” said Lee. He look at Kate “I think she is in the woods.”
“Well thank you for the tip.” Kate said and she fall to the ground. It was hopeless.
“If you go to the woods and find Luna you may have a chance to save her before Luna is killed or corrupted.” Lee said. “I will go back to the cave and see if Dalzen is dead. If not I will delay him. You need to find Luna and run for it. I got to finish the job.”
“Job?” Anger was rising in Kate. “Job?!? Luna is being hunted down and all you care about is killing a demon. You won’t even help me find her. My daughter is prey to a demon who will not stop and probably has a whole army ready to take her. You won’t even give me a weapon to defend me and Luna from the army.”
Lee look angry at Kate. “You think killing Dalzen is all I care about?” he said. “Killing him will stop the war and save lives. Luna is just one of the thousand victims Dalzen wants. Now I can end this by making sure he is dead. If you weren’t so afraid of telling her the truth then she wouldn’t be so defenseless to a demon. Especially one that comforts those who are new to the transform.”
“What do you want me to do?!?!?” Kate scream. “I can’t find her.”
“Transform into a werewolf.” Lee said and he turn to his car. Then his watch beep. Lee look at it and shock was on his face. “We are too late. The moon will rise soon.”

Luna was exhausted. She has been running for who knows how long and she was in the middle of the forest. Luna fell down, she couldn’t go on. She look up at the sky. It was twilight. The dark blue sky was getting darker and darker. It was getting almost too dark for Luna to see. The sun was gone and the moon will soon rise. The light filled the whole forest. Luna turn around and saw it was the moon rise.
Suddenly Luna’s body was in pain. She scream as her muscles tighten, her bones crack. Her body began to shift. She was transforming into wolf shape for the first time. Her skin felt it was on fire as fur began to grow. Her whole body itch as fur grew everywhere. Her hands felt they were being squeeze as they form into paws. They began to shrink and got thicker. The palms of her hands soften and start to become leathery. Luna’s back began to hurt as her spine began to grew into a tail. A sharp knot of pain was at the bottom of her back as the tail grow. Then Luna’s chest began to squeeze into a wolf chest and her whole began to shift into a wolf’s shape. The sensation was almost pleasant. Luna felt herself shrink as she crawl out of her clothes. Her feet began to become paws too. Luna felt her hips shift back as they form into a hip of a quadruped. Then her face began to change. Luna felt her mouth form into a snout. The bone shift and grow. Luna lift her face up as it began to form into a wolf’s face. Luna scream or howl from the transformation. She didn’t know if it was from pain or pleasure. Then her ears shift into triangular ears and the last of the transformation was complete.
Luna look at her wolf shape. She was a strong, gray, female wolf. She felt powerful. All her senses were super sharp. She could see the forest well. Her ears could pick out any sounds around her. The smells were terrific. She could smell prey from any parts of the forest. Oh they were delicious. Luna’s stomach growled as she smell a rabbit. She jump to where the smell was at. Then Luna was stop. What was she doing? Luna was shock to see that she want to eat a rabbit. It was like one part of her body wants her to be like a wolf but the other part, the human part, doesn’t want to eat rabbit or do anything wolf like. Luna sigh. Her new shape was foreign to her. She needs to get use to it. She can’t give into her wolf mind.
Then something hit her. She fell to the ground and roll down a hill. Luna got up on all fours. She growl at the enemy. Her wolf mind was angry. How dare it attacks her? Her wolf mind wants her to attack but Luna’s human knew that she should be careful. Luna look and saw who it was. It was Kill. Kill was a husky, big, and tough werewolf. He was on top of the hill, ready to strike. Luna step back. Her human mind and some of the wolf’s mind too want to retreat. She has no chance to beat Kill. Then Kill leap to her. Luna step to the right and Kill miss her. Luna growl as Kill turn around and then with couple rough barks Luna leap at him. Luna’s tackle sent both of them further down the hill. Luna bit Kill in the leg and try to scratch at his chest. They landed at ditch of some sort. Kill was thrown a few feet as Luna landed softly. Then Luna charge at Kill, her face was full of fury. But Kill was quick. He got up and lunge at Luna’s neck. Luna felt his jaw at her neck. Soon he will crush her and she will die. But the force of his attack threw her on the ground. Kill was over her, ready to strike. Blood was dripping from Kill’s foreleg and Luna’s neck. Then Kill prepare for the final strike.
Then something strike Kill and sent him on the ground. Another werewolf was standing between Luna and Kill. She was slightly bigger than Luna and had lighter grey fur than her. The new werewolf leap at Kill as he began to get up. Luna realize who it was. It was Kate in wolf form. Kate was on top of Kill trying to bite his snout. Kill jump and sent Kate a few feet away from him. They began to circle each other and then simultaneously the lunge at each other. The fight was brutal. Kate was biting Kill’s shoulder and Kill was trying to strike Kate’s throat. Luna try to get up but she was too dizzy. Then Kate was on the ground. Kill jump at her back and began to strike at it. Luna rush to them but Kill was already in front of her. He was going to strike but Kate leap on Kill. They roll on the ground as Kill try to get her off of him. Luna step back as the fight was at it’s peck. Blood was gleaming in the moonlight. Luna couldn’t see who had the advantage. Then Kate slam into Kill and he fell down. Kate took the opportunity and lunge at his throat. Blood was gleaming everywhere. Kate then left her head and howl. Luna did the same. The moon was bright. Luna look at Kill. He was having trouble breathing. His throat was oozing blood out. If he didn’t try to kill her, Luna would feel sorry for him. Then someone step out of the forest.
“Hello Luna.” the dark figure. Kate growl as he began to walk to Luna. “My name is Dalzen. I am your savior. I am here to teach you how to become a werewolf. I teach you how to control your wolf mind. I will show you a path of power. Not a path of weakness like your mother. Come with me.”
Then Kate lunge at Dalzen. But this attack was useless. Dalzen use his cloak as a shield and block the attack. Kate try over and over again to reach Dalzen but his cloak kept her from attacking him. Then Dalzen grab Kate a threw her 10 feet away from him. Dalzen began to walk to Luna. Luna was scared. Danger was all over his mind but her human mind wants answers and if she refuse Dalzen might kill her. But Kate was not finish. She jump on Dalzen giving her the element of surprise. Kate’s jaw had a hold of Dalzen’s hand. She began chew and try to rip Dalzen’s hand off. Dalzen scream, trying to Kate off his hand. Then he flung Kate off and she hit a tree. Luna heard her yelp. Dalzen was began to walk to Luna.
“Luna you are strong but you need to wield your strength wisely.” Dalzen said. “I will show you the true path to a were-animal. You can’t deny who you are. Your mother try that but it didn’t work. She only transform when she had to. But it didn’t help her deny her nature. She is a true monster, always deny the fact what she is. Try to keep what she is a secret. But with me you don’t need to do that. You can become a warrior. You are not like your mother. Join me.”
Luna then leap at Dalzen. She didn’t want to be like Kill. She knew it was all lies Dalzen said. She WAS like her mom. She will never give in to evil. Luna was on Dalzen with rage in every part of her body. She lunge and bite at his face. Dalzen push Luna off him. Luna landed but she got up and attack again but it was useless. Dalzen block her attack with his cloak. It felt hard like a shield. Luna pause and thought. The only way to attack him was when he didn’t have is cloak blocking her. She waited until he lowered his defense. Dalzen kept his cloak up until he went to grab Luna. Luna took the opportunity and attack. Dalzen fell as Luna lunge and lunge over and over again. Dalzen scream. Luna was blinded by rage. She tore into him like a monster. Then Dalzen was gone. Luna look around panting from rage. Luna realize that she shouldn’t have rage taken over her. This is what Dalzen wants. She walk over to Kate. Kate was still alive.
“You will be mine, Luna” Dalzen said. Luna look around to see where he was at. “You can’t run from me Luna, goddess of the moon.”

Luna was putting all the money she had in her purse. She made sure she had her license and keys to the car. Kate was asleep in there car and Luna was taking everything she can to the car. After last night Luna fell asleep. She woke up cold and human that morning. Kate and Luna went back home to get stuff. They decide they need to leave town. Dalzen will come back and take Luna again. So Luna grab food, money, and a map. She was about to leave when her cell phone. She grab it wondering who is calling.
“Hello?” Luna ask.
“Hello Luna.” the voice said on the other end of the phone. It was Lee. “I just want to make sure you are all right. I also want to tell you that I’m proud that you resist Dalzen. Yes I saw the battle in the woods. Your werewolf curse is a gift use it wisely. See you later and safe journey to you .”
“Bye.” said Luna and she went to the car.
