<poem> I have wandered the planes, With no destination, no goal, Living as life, breathing the day, Nothing but life and breath and life.

And upon me, it came, An urge beyond my control. I was prompted–no, commanded My own soul, and body, and mind Possessed me.

I had to run and prance, Switching gaits in midstride. I bucked and reared, Pawing the air and the dirt, The wind and the ground. I kicked my solid hooves, Stones flying, dust blowing, Sweat dripping through my hair.

Invigorated, but not wearied, I reflected, Puzzling upon that feeling. Odd it seemed, To have mind, spirit, and body in union, Stroking embers and coals, Only for the sake Of a dancing, unbridled flame? </poem>
