Nicely done little story! I liked the perspective reversal, the fact that it was the life of Bryce's merged animal flashing before his eyes was kept nicely ambiguous. :)

An excellent story, I liked it. I'm not sure whether or not the end was the little "perspective reversal" thing that Bryan said, but I still liked the twist at the back: veery nice! I could see that you dropped little hints implying the ending, and the way you conveyed the emotions was also great!

And, I'm also very impressed by how you could portray an entire fantasy setting in just a couple of paragraphs: every time I tried I'd end up with paragraphs and paragraphs of pointless meandering to the reader. Nice one there! --Drake 21:29, 29 May 2009
