<poem> In spite of all was said and told, A man sought stone to cease the cold, But if that stone rolled onto him, Who belongs to who?

A man bought limbs to break and climb, And cuts the limbs to form a line, But if he fell from lofty vine, Which belongs to which?

To some a pond is just a deed, To boat and fish for lustful need, But if the boat washed over thee, What belongs to what?

I pluck a fruit so sweet and ripe, To caress my lips with joyful bight, But if that fruit was sewn with blight, Would it belong to me? </poem>
