This template is to be placed in all stories-by-author categories. It has two optional parameters which can be used to override the username of the author in case the category name doesn't match it exactly. The first parameter overrides the page link and the second parameter overrides the link text. By default it will link to the user page with the same name as the category. So for example, when this template is placed in Category:Bob Stein:

This category contains all works on Shifti that were written by Author category.

Parameters Resulting link
author category
Bob Stein
Posti
Bob Stein
Posti
Bob
