Help Resolving a Consistent Post Time-Stamping Error, Anybody?

Hi, there; I don't know why this happens, but every single time that I try to sign my talk posts with four tildes, the resulting signature's time stamp defaults to showing the time relative to the Central time zone even though I've told Shifti in preferences that I want times to be in Eastern time. So I have to go back and edit it every single time I post! I've tried emptying my caches, changing that setting back to 'Server default (America/Chicago),' logging out of Shifti, emptying my caches again, logging back in to Shifti, changing that setting to 'America/Indiana/Indianapolis,' emptying my caches once again, logging out of Shifti again, emptying my caches again, and then logging back in to Shifti, but that hasn't worked (yet, anyway.) I think I'm going to try going through the procedure which I just outlined above again (and, if that doesn't work, deleting my cookies for this site after logging out and then logging back in again,) before I call myself stumped, though.

Testing, one, two, three: "— RandomDSdevel (talk) 20:07, 6 November 2014 (CST)"
OK, no dice; let me try resetting my Shifti cookies like I said I was going to…

Testing again: "— RandomDSdevel (talk) 20:13, 6 November 2014 (CST)"
OK, still nothing. What's going on? Does this have anything to do with the fact that Shifti's server's or servers' default time zone is set to something other than UTC — i. e.: 'America/Chicago?'

Hey, I think I've figured it out now! If you go to WikiApiary's entry on Shifti and click on 'General,' you'll find that this page lists Shifti's 'Timezone' as 'America/Chicago,' which looks right to me, and its 'Time Offset' as '-360,' which definitely seems like an error of some kind (if 'Timezone' is 'America/Chicago,' then shouldn't 'Time Offset' be something like '-06:00' during Standard Time and something like '-05:00' during Daylight Savings Time?)
