Ooohhh maannn! Why do these stories always end on these things called Cliffs? :D
I'm loving these stories Robotech, Jon and Jetfire. (Though I could do without the hanging at the end of the chapters. hehe.) VoyseyS (talk) 19:14, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
Notes on the DC
- “I have been monitoring our ten ‘Fortunatos’ as closely as I might since the two cured RIDEs have returned to the camp, but I have not seen any unusual movements near them, nor detected unusual network traffic. Of course, whisker laser transmissions are very hard to detect.”
- Wouldn't the infected RIDEs be the 'Montressors,' and their trapped humans the 'Fortunatos?'
- The Dream Chaser had fore and aft retractable pulse cannons and two dozen of Kaylee’s favored micro-missiles in underwing FAST paks—the weapons were temporary, at least.
- In previous chapters it was "Dreamchaser," which I think works a little better. (Or at least it matches with Starmaster.) There are a few more instances of "Dream Chaser" in this chapter also.
- “This is going to be tough. If they run, I’m a little too big to chase,
- "Too big to give chase" would be clearer.
- The problem with obvious places were rather self-evident, but it was just like her uncle. The problem was that if there was another Integrate aboard they could have done any number of things if they found the DIN.
- Singular/plural disagreement in the first sentence. Also, two sentences in a row starting with "The problem" is a little awkward.
- To her knowledge neither he nor his followers had ever killed another Intie.
- Quinoa at least knows Fritz killed Paulie, if I remember correctly.
- The sphinx started hyper-saturating her body with oxygen, topping off her batteries.
- Inties can convert oxygen to electrical power? If so, why couldn't she have done that in the first place to get above 3% charge? (I totally could have missed something here.)
- For convenience, the network had been arranged to have a 1:1 topology between the virtual and real worlds, which meant that the DINS in here would be in exactly the same places as outside.
- DINs.
- Rochelle reached out with a flood of DIN encrypted network probes masked as something from another Integrated.
- Integrate.
