Hello!

I have just started out writing transformation stories (or writing at all, as a matter of fact), so any feedback would be appreciated.

Magic for the Mundane

My little quirks

Quotations

I use a few sets of quotation marks to denote different types of quotes.

Ones you probably already know

'single quotes' are for adding emphasis

"double quotes" are for, well, quotes

New ones

/single slashes\ are for writing or typing

//double slashes\\ are for thoughts

I used to use colons instead of slashes, but that would create indentations where I didn't really want them.

Timestamps

Usually at the beginning of a story, if a large amount of time has passed, or if the setting changes,I will stick a little timestamp in there, such as

August 22, 2194, planet Arenar

or, if multiple story universes could possibly be involved, I might add that too.

August 22, 2194, planet Arenar, Magic for the Mundane universe
