User talk:Michael Bard/Now I will believe that there are Unicorns
A beautiful if slightly tragic story. Seriously, you know how to write impact. And the set-up for the mental change was beautifully done.
Could use the Mental change tag.

- To me, at least, this is one of those stories where knowing there is a mental change coming would negate the impact. That is not, to say, that it would be less of a story if the change was known about ahead of time.

- The categories are displayed at the bottom of the page (in the default Monobook skin) so just having a category wouldn't give any spoilers. A template tag would, but we don't have those for categorizing the subject of the story; I've mostly limited those to things people would definitely want to know before they start reading (shared setting, objectionable content, completion status, that sort of thing). That said, though, if there's any room for doubt as to what to categorize a story I'd generally leave it in the hands of the author to decide. Bryan 21:38, 5 March 2008 (EST)
No indents, as this is a reply to the original comment (though, I really DO need to go through and add proper tags to everything...). I have this funny image of unicorns, and purity. No, I don't think technology is a bad thing, but for story purposes I exagerrated it. After that initial assumption, the rest just followed. And, as far as I know, the painting of a unicorn facing off against a construction machine is out of my head -- though I wouldn't mind one to hang on my wall. -- Michael Bard 6 March 2008
