Author's Comments
It's an ongoing project! Sometimes I think it will never end. More chapters to be added as they finish. As a note, 'Interludes' are a bit lighter and feature different main characters. Part One was the first story I'd ever written outside of a classroom, and I just took off from there. I've taken to editing it. Heavily.
- Every story needs a beginning. With Xanadu, you know how it starts - a normal girl wearing a costume, thinking about what it means to her. Then the world changes.
- The hero is very good at finding allies. Sometimes, however, these allies have priorities of their own.
- (Almost) every game has a lava level. Lava levels usually have lava bosses.
- It was inevitable. Seamless integration between the normal girl and the hero? No.
- Narrative shift! Is it possible to write from the POV of a giant without actually describing the narrator as "big"? Apparently so.
- Another narrator shift, another sidestory.
- Hey! Foreshadowing!
- Zombies are popular in videogames. So are unpleasant revelations.
- The first day ends in a call home.
- Wake up, go for breakfast - hey, what's happening?!

Both just say "I am Revan". They can give a reader a vague idea about what one(or is that two?) of my characters look like.
