It might not, but they are on the Gulf of Mexico, and as I understand it, they have reclaimed a chunk of Mexico as well. There are 1000 seaports in Texas according to the wiki, and in this case, the Nautical forces would be mainly defensive. --Concerned Reader 16:29, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

::The NAR has one – a descendant of Havoks Hounds – but I can't see it being that common. Powers are nominally rare, so a collection of them in one place would mean a lack someplace else. But since the groups are small – Havoks Hounds only had seven teefers in the "action group" and the modern version is actually somewhat smaller. If Texas does have one it'll be a similarly small group that doesn't see use except in exceptional circumstances. -- ShadowWolf 22:28, 18 July 2009 (UTC) ::The NAR has one – a descendant of Havoks Hounds – but I can't see it being that common. After looking through the Texas Rangers Wiki, It seems a common term thrown around back then was "One Riot, One Ranger." I think I'll play off of that and have the Rangers try to place a powered Teefer in each Company. The Rangers themselves are a small group, as I understand it they are the special forces, so for each company to try and have one "Riot Ranger" wouldn't be too unbelievable.

Here's how I see the Texas Military forces:

*The Armed Forces
*The Air Force
*The Nautical Force
*Special Forces
**Texas Rangers
***The Riot Rangers

::But yes, that was the special thing about "Havoks Hounds" – each of them had a combat related power. I will probably cover them all as the story progresses, but for now just remember that even combat powers can't overcome overwhelming numbers. (Okay, so Scott can probably pull that off, but he'd be useless for days afterwards) -- ShadowWolf 16:59, 18 July 2009 (UTC) ::But yes, that was the special thing about "Havoks Hounds" – each of them had a combat related power. November can form blades/spikes/daggers as well, but the example doesn't really matter. He does have to have a fluid available to use his power, though. That's what his partner's power is, creating storms. It creates a nice team dynamic. At one point he kills someone with his own blood and some brandy.
DTB is a really good powers show. I recommend it highly. It's like Heroes, but done right. --Concerned Reader 04:46, 18 July 2009 (UTC) DTB is a really good powers show. I recommend it highly. It's like Heroes, but done right.
