::Okay this is really nitpicking, but unless terminology has changed, it wouldn't make sense for RAM to be a storage medium since it is volatile (it doesn't hold data when it loses power.) Sure, they ''could'' make a device that stored data in RAM and kept it powered up, but ''why?'' They must have something more appropriate for a data chip.
