The “Throat Wolf” was a card much talked about back in the early days of Magic: The Gathering. However, despite all the discussion, the card did not actually exist. Thus, when I picked a pseudonym for the vore (vorarephilia) stories I wanted to write, many of which involved the throats of wolf-like beings, it was a natural choice—just as the card did not actually exist, the author did not actually exist either.

I post most of these stories in [http://aryion.com/g3/user/Throat_Wolf my Eka's Portal Gallery] but have been considering reposting some of them here.

In a way, I have Shifti's predecessor, the Transformation Stories Archive, to thank for my vore-writing career.

I first discovered the TSA a long, long time ago when I was googling for a story that I had posted to alt.sex.stories and discovered it had ended up in the TSA. It was called The She-Wolf, and was my first stumbling attempt at writing a vorarephilia story. I certainly never posted it to the TSA-Talk list, since I didn't know such a thing existed—but I was far from unpleased that someone thought my work was good enough to archive.

So, inspired by the knowledge that there might be a place for these stories, I wrote several sequels, some of which I posted to the list—which were then unceremoniously rejected from the archive because its new administration wanted to move away from "that kind of story." Thanks so much, guys. :P
