			:::I've looked into building them from scratch around sets of automotive batteries, but the charging circuits were always listed as "get this from a broken UPS" or "you don't really need one, but to be safe do X,Y & Z". I may have a bent towards the practical when it comes to saving money, but I fail to see why I should risk a lead-acid battery blowing up on me (or why I should waste the money on a "dead" UPS for one part) when I can get something that has been rigorously tested (I hope!) and proven to be safe.

			:"Hal" (the webserver) has, IIRC, a 500W power-supply in it and I was planning on the PS for Draco's permanent replacement being at least that. So Maximum power draw for them will be about a kilowatt. Factor in the router (which, IIRC, draws under 50W), the WYSE-50 attached to "Hal" and the screen that will be attached to the database server...
